Hi, I'm Colm Maines

I began O’Connor Contracting in order to provide a much-needed service in the Southern Michigan area. I saw that there were not many contractors around, and those that were around were difficult to get ahold of because the demand was so high.

I also began this company out of a fascination with interior spaces and the importance they play in our everyday life. I care a lot about the layout of my home and the craftsmanship that it was made with and I wanted to share that with others.

We are a local, family-owned business who wants to help people in our community live happier lives.

The guys were great! My toilet was leaking, which led to black mold and the entire bathroom floor/shower needing to be pulled up and reinstalled. They did an excellent job with the bathroom and with communicating with me every step of the way. I have zero complaints, the bathroom is gorgeous and everything is fixed! The bathroom is now fully functional and we do not have to worry about leaks in either the shower or the toilet! I highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of repairs.

This is the best contractor company I have ever dealt with. They took out my nasty bathroom floor and replaced it with new tile, installed a new toilet and did excellent trim work quickly with high quality results. They were able to start the job soon after I initially contacted them and got it all done within three days. Friendly, thoughtful and dependable. I highly, highly recommend them!
